Synopsis

After his divorce, Hades, former lord of the underworld, is banished to the American south. However, when his spunky demigod niece knocks on his door and begs him to accompany her to the underworld, Hades gets a second wind. Before he can win back his old life, he must confront his past.

Casting notes from the playwright: “many of the actors will be playing multiple roles, either non-human or extremely exaggerated, of varying identities. Therefore gender identity in the casting process should be a relaxed factor but diversity, of all forms, is not only encouraged but expected.”
