The Set Closet is stoked to announce Matt Banwart will headline, ONE NIGHT ONLY June 27 2026! Originally from Chicago, now based out of much warmer Austin, TX, Matt Banwart was host/founder of Roast Battle Chicago at Zanies for 3 years, where the show won Best Independent Comedy Show in Chicago. His debut album Town Kid charted at #1 on Amazon, iTunes, and Sirius XM. Most notably, he has a mini special coming out on Cracked Comedy presented by Netflix. He is also the host of the new online and Tubi show You Laugh You Leave Live with YouTuber Jimmy Here (1.7M subscribers). Matt is known for his constant comedy writing and quick off-the-cuff moments live. While you might recognize him from TikTok or Instagram, where he has accumulated over 15million views, he is above all a stand up comedian and best live.
