FEED is officially opening and celebrating with an exciting new immersive piece, “Eclipsing Stars,” a collaboration between artist, Alex (lonesav) Staley, and astrophysicist and folklorist, Dr. Moiya McTier, with support from Erie Arts & Culture and FEED. Join us for the opening reception.

5:30PM-Doors open.

6-7PM-Perspectives on Space: A Storytelling Event Celebrating the Opening of “Eclipsing Stars” 

The night will kick off with a celebration of multiple perspectives on celestial objects, events, and space. Astrophysicist and folklorist, Dr. Moiya McTier will MC the night and share one of the stories she wrote for "Eclipsing Stars." Regional storyteller and cultural educator, Perry Ground, and local poet and community leader, Mabel Howard, will join Dr. McTier with their stories, which will be highlighted with live visuals mixed by Erie-based artist, Collin Bonner. Seating is limited to first-come, first-served.

7-10PM-Opening reception for "Eclipsing Stars"
