Event Details

Tethered is a massive, year-long collaboration of over 50 Erie-based creatives with backgrounds in acting, dance, music, and film. Tethered shows the demise of relationships and touches on themes of addiction, codependency, domestic violence, rehabilitation, therapy, and hope. While the topics are heavy, the performances show redemption for each character as they journey to find the help they need. A limited number of additional tickets are now available for the general public. Sales close Thursday, February 15th and there will be no ticket sales at the door.

Talking and cellphone use will not be permitted during the show. Attendees will be admitted starting at 5:30 PM. Performances begin promptly at 6:00 PM. Late arrivals will be accepted though we recommend arriving as early as possible to maximize your experience. The duration of an attendee’s experience depends on their arrival and departure times. There is no correct order to view the show.

Tethered performances run simultaneously across all 5 floors of the building. Each performance is synchronized to an original musical score. Performances are 1 hour in duration and repeat 3 times each night (6-7 pm, 7-8 pm, 8-9 pm). Attendees may only interact with a performer if the interaction is initiated by the performer. Attendees will receive special wristbands during check-in if they consent to interaction.

Tethered Producers include Erie-based creatives: Nikki Behr, Hannah Borczon, Betsy Butoryak, Adele Crotty, Jesse James, Corinne Justine, and John C. Lyons.
